Our Story

We’re here to give speakers the resources we wish we had.

Hi, I'm Dan Irvin, CEO of The Speaker Lab.

I didn’t start in the speaking industry. I was in the corporate world, leading teams, building businesses, doing what I thought I was supposed to do. It looked like success, but I realized something was missing. I didn’t have control over my time, my income, or the life I was building for my family.

So I made a decision to go all in on speaking. The problem was, I had no idea how to actually build a speaking business. That’s when I found The Speaker Lab. They gave me the structure, the system, and the clarity I was missing.

Now, I get to lead the very company that helped me do it: helping speakers build a real business around their message, get booked and paid consistently, and create something they actually own.

I want to give you the resources I wish I had.

When I came to The Speaker Lab as a student, I didn’t have a roadmap. I had a message, some ambition, and a lot of question marks. What I found was a team that gave me structure, a system that worked, and the clarity to actually build something instead of just dreaming about it.

Now I get to lead that same team. Our mission is simple: give every speaker the clarity, confidence, and clear path they need to make an impact. Our courses and coaching have helped thousands of speakers start and grow real businesses around their message, from people leaving the corporate world like I did to seasoned pros.

If you’ve got something to say and you’re tired of figuring it out alone, I’d love to come alongside you. The path to a meaningful career on stage doesn’t have to be a guessing game. We’ve already mapped it. Let’s get you on it.
