These SMS Terms of Service (“SMS Terms“) apply to text message and phone communications between The Speaker Lab, LLC (“The Speaker Lab,” “we,” “us“) and anyone who has provided us with their mobile phone number and opted in to receive these communications. By providing your phone number and checking the consent box on our forms, you agree to these SMS Terms.
Program Description
The Speaker Lab operates SMS and call communication programs to support speakers and prospective students of our coaching programs. Depending on your interaction with us, you may receive:
- Transactional messages — appointment reminders, confirmations, account updates, call details, and support notifications related to your assessment, bookings, or enrollment.
- Marketing messages — speaking tips, program announcements, special offers, event invitations, and resources from The Speaker Lab.
- Phone calls — sales, onboarding, support, and informational calls related to programs you have expressed interest in or enrolled in. Some calls may be placed using automated telephone dialing systems or prerecorded or artificial voice messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and opt-ins. You should expect approximately 2-8 messages per month, with higher frequency during active enrollment periods or upcoming scheduled calls.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. The Speaker Lab does not charge a fee for messages. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Consent
By providing your phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our forms, you are providing express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) for The Speaker Lab and its authorized service providers to contact you at that number by phone call and text message, including using automated telephone dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial voice messages. Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of our SMS program at any time. Reply with any of the following keywords to stop receiving messages:

After you send the opt-out keyword, we will send you a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS messages from our program. If you wish to opt back in, you can text START or re-submit a form with the SMS consent box checked.
To opt out of phone calls, reply STOP to any text message or ask the representative during a call to remove your number.

Supported Carriers
Our SMS program is compatible with all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, and Cricket Wireless, as well as many MVNOs.
Privacy
We handle your phone number, consent, and message history in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your phone number or SMS/call consent with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information with authorized service providers who help us operate our SMS and call programs (such as SMS delivery and CRM platforms), subject to confidentiality obligations.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent changes. Material changes will be communicated to you via SMS or email before taking effect. Continued participation in our SMS program after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
