“I’ve been speaking in workshops and keynotes for years, but I wasn’t able to get what I knew I should be getting,” Courageous says. “I’m an incredible speaker, people are engaged, but it wasn’t enough money. I didn’t know how to do that consistently.”

The results were immediate and profound. Courageous began re-engaging past clients, turning initial workshops into multi-tiered engagements. One client started with a $2,500 workshop, then booked a $10,000 follow-up, and now she is preparing a $60,000 long-term partnership.
“These little strategies, asking the right questions, following up the right way, they unlock opportunities that were already there,” she says.
Beyond the financial wins, Courageous has also experienced the emotional impact of her work. At one keynote, she shared her story as a survivor of domestic violence. Afterward, she found a note on her plate from an attendee: “Filled with fear, I got out too. And hearing you talk today was everything for me.”
“That is why I do this,” she says. “Those moments remind me of the difference I make.”
Daily Clarity and Strategic Focus
The Speaker Lab also gave Courageous the structure to plan her business day by day. She now wakes up knowing exactly what steps will move her business forward, and she executes them with confidence. Recently relocating to Panama, she is already identifying opportunities to speak at events that fit her niche and language capabilities.
“It is so much easier with a system,” she says. “I just need to speak one time, and my name is going to be all around here. I’m ready. I’m excited.”

Courageous emphasizes the importance of investing in yourself first. “If you serve yourself really well, the overflow you give to other people is incredible,” she says. “Do what you have to do to start this program. It will be worth your money. You are worth it first.”
