Tell us about yourself; who are you and what do you do for fun?
I live in the mountains of Colorado and enjoy all the beauty and activities which come along with this lifestyle. I snowboard, mountain bike, and rock climb when possible. All the while, keeping up with my three teenagers and all their activities. But this is balanced with living a life of chronic pain. Having had a hip reconstruction surgery 18 years ago which left me with chronic nerve damage. I attempt to encourage others in a similar position with a message of hope that life can still be incredible regardless of our circumstances.
What got you into speaking? Is it what you expected?
I have been speaking publicly since college. But always looked at it as a by-product of another job. Whether it was as a business consultant, Senior Pastor, or speaking to groups. I always loved it and I think secretly hoped I could do this full-time one day. I made the jump a few months ago and I love it. People have been extremely grateful and gracious and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Tell us about your hardest moment as a speaker so far.
Attempting to get my message out there and find places to speak has been far more challenging than anticipated. It is not a show-stopper but definitely an area which needs my attention.
What has been your biggest success as a speaker so far?
My biggest success as a speaker so far has been being able to speak to 1000 people struggling with chronic pain, mental health issues, and problems in life. The message was very well received and showed how much this message is needed in our modern world.
What was your biggest struggle before finding The Speaker Lab?

Grant’s video’s are also extremely helpful in how you can keep shaping your speech into something truly extraordinary.
