Tell us about yourself; who are you and what do you do for fun?
I am an energetic people-loving person that enjoys being active in playing sports and making motivational videos. I am the type of person that can have fun anywhere. I love going to movies, reading books and making motivational quotes for social media.
What got you into speaking? Is it what you expected?
I came into speaking because I’ve always been the type of person that has wanted to inspire people to be better. Through my own failures, I’ve wanted to speak to people to share my experiences, but also, inspire them to take action towards reaching their potential.
Tell us about your hardest moment as a speaker so far.
My hardest moment as a speaker so far has been deciding what audience I will target. I’ve worked with youth mostly in my career, but I’ve also wanted to speak to adults. Building my website took a long while because I wasn’t sure where to start and how to do it for an affordable price.
What has been your biggest success as a speaker so far?
Booking my first paid speaking gig. I am not the keynote speaker, but I was booked for two breakout sessions. The decision maker stated she found my website by googling motivational speakers in my city and my site came up. She liked my message and decided to inquire to book me as a speaker.
What was your biggest struggle before finding The Speaker Lab?
Before The Speaker Lab, I really struggled with where to start. The process of where to start and how to develop the business. I struggled with defining a target market and how to get it started and to gain notoriety as a speaker.
How has The Speaker Lab helped you and your business?
The Speaker Lab helped me learn the process of the business side of it. The Speaker Lab helped me shape my entire approach in how I market myself. Along with building my website.
What is your number one goal over the next 6 months to a year?
Book 3-5 more speaking gigs.
